Kiln fired enamelling workshops with Katie Sanderson
Come and join me for a workshop from my studio in the beautiful Forest of Dean and experience the ancient craft of enamelling on copper.
Make your own kiln fired enamelled creations, these may include pendants, earrings, brooches, plaques and pictures all taken home that same day.
With step-by-step guidance and tuition I will demonstrate each stage as you progress, and offer one-to-one guidance where appropriate. All workshops are suitable for complete beginners or those that would like to further their experience. All tools and materials are provided.

Full Day: 10am to 4pm
On a full day workshop, you’ll be able to make a selection of pieces that you take home that same day, these may include pendants, earrings, brooches, keyring, cufflinks, pictures or plaques. Generally people make between 4-6 pieces. You may also want to come with a project in mind, which we can discuss before the day. Full days cost £75 per person plus approximately £15 on materials paid for on the day.

Half day: 3 hours 10am to 1pm or times can vary to suit a group booking.
On a three hour half day workshop you’ll make at least two pieces that you will take home that same day, these may be pendants, earrings, brooches, keyring, cufflinks, picture or plaques. Half days cost £55 per person plus approximately £8 on materials paid for on the day.

Enamelling is thought to go back some 3500 years and although now done with modern equipment, these wonderful processes can be incredibly addictive and even with just a small amount of time you will be amazed at what you can achieve.
For those of you returning to do more with me you may want to come with a project in mind, or simply want to try new techniques. You are welcome to discuss this with me when booking.
